IPI training program for local media sustainability
The International Press Institute is launching the Local News Accelerator, a training program aimed at enhancing local media sustainability. Eligible organizations can apply by submitting a project proposal by July 7, 2024.

Local media organizations worldwide are invited to apply for the International Press Institute’s (IPI) Local News Accelerator, a four-month training program designed to enhance financial and editorial sustainability.

The Local News Accelerator offers successful applicants a comprehensive package that includes intensive training, personalized coaching (both one-on-one and group sessions), speaker sessions, networking opportunities, and access to an e-learning platform.

To apply, candidates must submit a brief project proposal detailing a specific initiative they wish to develop with the accelerator's support. This proposal will be a key component in the selection process.
