KARACHI – BOL News has reportedly fired over 250 employees without even paying them nearly six months of outstanding salaries and dues.
Many staff members at the Karachi office learned about the illegal sackings when they arrived at work on Thursday.
The employees protested in front of the offices and blocked the gates in protest. They shouted slogans against the management for their economic murder.
The management’s decision comes a day after the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered BOL News to pay off salaries to staff members within one month.
BOL repeatedly claims it is Pakistan’s biggest media house.
