Asia-based journalists invited for fully-funded training in Singapore

Journalists working in Asia have an exciting opportunity to participate in a fully-funded journalism training program in Singapore.

The National Press Foundation (NPF) is organizing an intensive four-day workshop focused on sustainable global trade. The program will explore crucial topics such as China’s economic impact, sustainable investments, the influence of the new U.S. administration on trade policies, labor, supply chains, security, and climate change. The training sessions will be held in Singapore from June 22 to 25.

This initiative aims to provide Asia-based journalists with advanced skills and deeper insights into one of the most pressing global issues today. The NPF will cover all travel expenses, including airfare, local transportation, accommodation, and most meals.

Journalists of all nationalities are encouraged to apply, provided they are based in Asia. Preference will be given to those with a strong reporting background and a clear coverage plan on these topics.

Application deadline: April 6, 2025
