QUETTA: The son of an Express News TV correspondent was killed and another injured in a firing incident in Khuzdar district Thursday, The Express Tribune reported.
Without naming the father and his sons, it said the motive behind the killing could not be known.
Balochistan remains a dangerous province for journalists. On September 29, Abdul Haq Baloch, a reporter of ARY TV was shot dead by unidentified gunmen, also in Khuzdar in the restive Balochistan province.
He was attacked by two gunmen on a motorcycle near the local press club as he headed home.
In May, Abdul Razaq Gul, 35, of Express News was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Turbat district while Abdul Qadir Hajizai of Wash TV was also shot dead by men on a motorcycle in the troubled province.
Nine journalists have been killed in Pakistan this year, the most recent being Raza Sahil, a sports reporter, gunned down in Karachi this week.
