Nusrat Javeed leaves Aaj, joins DawnNews

ISLAMABAD: Veteran journalist, analyst and television anchor Nusrat Javeed has quit Aaj News Television just over seven months after rejoining the channel from BOL News.

He made the announcement on Twitter: I have resigned from Aaj TV; got bored and tired of "paid vacations." He has now  joined DawnNews Television.

Javeed has worked for almost all English dailies in a career he began in 1975.  He entered the world of broadcast media with his program, Bolta Pakistan at Aaj TV and quickly made his mark.

Later, he moved to Dunya where he used to host the program Dunya Meray Agay.

In January 2015 Javeed, moved to BOL News as executive vice president and senior anchorperson. However, after the channel failed to hit the airwaves, he returned to Aaj.
