Nusrat Javeed rejoins Aaj TV
Nusrat Javeed has returned to Aaj TV after leaving for BOL News. He will launch a new current affairs program and resume writing articles.

ISLAMABAD: Columnist and anchorperson Nusrat Javeed has rejoined Aaj TV and will start hosting a current affairs program with new format after Eid.

“Bad news for trolls, Mairay Dushmanoon Kau Naveed Hoo, as Faiz Sb said: I will start reappearing on AAJ TV, after Eid, ASAP (sic),” he tweeted Wednesday.

To questions about format of the program from his followers, he said, “I can only promise an interesting format; let’s hope and pray it works,” he tweeted.

He also told his followers that he would resume writing articles too but not for Express this time.

Nusrat Javeed and Mushtaq Minhas co-hosted a popular current affairs program “Bolta Pakistan” on Aaj TV but quit in November last year to join BOL News.

Minhas is still with BOL however, but Javeed's resignation comes following the fake degree scam that has rocked Axact, parent company of BOL News.

Javeed, in journalism since 1975, has worked for almost all English dailies in Pakistan. He entered the world of broadcast media with his program, Bolta Pakistan, at Aaj TV and quickly rose to prominence.
