LAHORE - Columnist, political analyst and journalist, Hassan Naqvi has formally assumed charge as web editor at Media Times Pakistan.
He will manage the online content of group's newspapers Daily Times and Aaj Kal, magazines Sunday, and TGIF, and television channels Business Plus and Zaiqa.
Naqvi was part of Capital TV’s launch team and served in various capacities. He was a crime reporter at The Express Tribune and has extensively covered politics, economy and militancy for leading publications including The Friday Times, The Nation, Pakistan Today and United Press International (UPI). He regularly appears on television talk shows as political and defense analyst.
He did his Masters in Mass Communication from Beaconhouse National University with distinction.
His responsibilities at Media Times will be to plan all online content according to the publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.
He will also be responsible to build and develop a team to manage and monitor the websites and also the social media presence of the group’s publications and channels.
