ISLAMABAD—Television presenter Gharidah Farooqi has filed a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against PTI workers who displayed placards against her during the party's recent Lahore rally.
Farooqi warned on Twitter that those who spread insulting remarks about her would have to face the law. "I've complained in FIA against obnoxious, harassing, derogatory banners against me held in Lhr jalsa & put up on social media," she stated while urging no tolerance for such condemnable acts.
She also expressed the hope that FIA would take swift action against the culprits.
Farooqi, known as a vocal critic of PTI, had recently made critical remarks on the participation of people in the recent PTI gatherings. The party workers and activists harshly criticized her.
