ISLA MABAD – Prominent journalist and analyst Sohail Warraich who earned fame with his program Aik Din Geo Kay Saath, has quit Geo and joined Dunya as Group Editor and Executive Director Dunya News Television.
Warraich’s style of asking questions often ending with Kia Ye Khula Tazad Nahin became common phrase as he interviewed celebrities focusing on their daily lives in his program.
He said joining Dunya Group was a challenge for him and he would try and perform his duties as best he can in the light of his experience. He is also likely to host a program on Dunya News.
Warraich was associated with Geo since the channel’s inception. He began his career in journalism through print in the 1990s.
