ISLAMABAD – There have been a few new signings in recent days at BOL News, the channel preparing to switch from its test transmission to a formal launch soon.
The most senior man to have joined is Rafiq Shaikh, who comes in as head of content. He brings with him 35 years of experience that has seen him work for a string of organizations, among them ARY News, Jang and Jehan Pakistan.
Hamza Ali Abbasi, a theatre, film and television actor, model and director, has also joined the BOL team. He will host a show but the nature of his program is not known yet.
Another prominent name taken on board is presenter Muhammad Usama Ghazi, previously with Geo. Insiders say, he will be doing a political show from Lahore.
