ISLAMABAD: Renowned anchorperson and analyst Mubasher Lucman has turned singer to create awareness among public on cancer and help Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital manage sustainable flow of funds to treat patients.
Lucman has joined hands with the hospital and also sang a song for the project, “Sing a Song, Save a Life.”
Data shows that nearly 150,000 Pakistanis are diagnosed with cancer each year, of which, about 15,000 are children.
The video of Lucman’s song became viral on social media within a few hours it was uploaded on the internet. The hospital administration expects to reach maximum number of donors and common citizens through the project.
Lucman currently hosts a current affairs cum investigative program, Meri Jang, on BOL News.
