Dunya TV fires Sports Editor

ISLAMABAD: Dunya Television has sacked its Sports Editor Yasir Ghani, just days after more than a dozen staffers were abruptly fired.

A JournalismPakistan.com source says Ghani had just returned to work after being on leave to mourn his mother's death when he was handed the termination letter.

Similarly, an expectant anchor was sacked earlier this week, leaving her with no medical cover.

These terminations are part of a broader restructuring effort at Dunya TV, which has been facing significant challenges and is reportedly attempting to navigate through managerial and financial difficulties.
