Young DawnNews reporter dies

LAHORE: Umair Ali, a reporter who worked for DawnNews Television has died of brain tumor in Lahore. He was 25.

Ali was operated upon a few days ago at a private hospital. However, doctors put him on a ventilator later considering his critical condition. He died Saturday evening.

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari have condoled Umair's death.
