ISLAMABAD — Owais Tohid has joined 92 News Television and is set to appear in the program Muqabil.
He announced on Twitter Saturday that he would start appearing in the show from August 19 Monday through Thursday at 10:00 pm.
Tohid, a seasoned journalist, arrives at 92 News from Public TV which he joined in November last year and hosted Crosscheck. Before that, he was with Capital TV.

With over 25 years of journalistic experience, Tohid has headed three private television channels - ARY, Geo (E) and Dunya.
He worked for the BBC in London and was Pakistan/Afghanistan correspondent of Christian Science Monitor. He has been bureau chief of Agence France Presse (AFP) in Karachi and has written for Wall Street Journal, Time and The Guardian, among others.
