BOL News president and assistant vice president abducted in Karachi

KARACHI—Unidentified individuals abducted Nabeel Jakhura, President of BOL News, and Assistant Vice President Shabi Al Hassan in Karachi on Friday.

Ghulam Abbas, Senior Program Manager at BOL News, told JournalismPakistan.com that both were kidnapped as they headed home from work in Jakhura’s car.

He said the vehicle was later found locked in Sohrab Goth and valuables retrieved from it. Aziz Bhatti Police Station have registered the first information report.

Earlier on Friday, BOL News reported that the two officials were kidnapped in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. However, initial investigation and finding reveal that the incident took place near Baitul Mukarram Masjid on University Road.

On behalf of BOL News, Abbas demanded that the officials take notice of the incident and ensure safe recovery of the abducted BOL News’ high ups.
