Former RIUJ president joins 92 News
Waqar Satti, the former president of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists, is joining 92 News as a Senior Correspondent. The channel, headquartered in Lahore, is set to launch its test transmission next month.

ISLAMABAD: Waqar Satti (pictured), a former president of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) has joined 92 News Television that is likely to start its test transmission next month.

Satti, currently the National Press Club's Finance Secretary, will be the channel's Senior Correspondent in Islamabad. Until recently he was associated with Urdu daily Jehan Pakistan.

Headed by Yousuf Baig Mirza, the ex Managing Director at Pakistan Television, 92 News has its headquarters in Lahore. According to a recent advertisement, it will be Pakistan's first HD news, current affairs and infotainment channel.
