APP photographer Sheharyar Anjum wins award

PESHAWAR - Sheharyar Anjum, a young photojournalist with the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), won the first prize at the 3rd Ameer Ahmad Siddiqi Media Awards held here Saturday.

The awards ceremony took place at the Peshawar Press Club in collaboration with the Khyber Union of Journalists.

Former Senator Farhat Ullah Babar was the chief guest. A large number of media workers and others attended the ceremony.

Shehyar Anjum is the son of Riaz Anjum who also worked with APP and is a renowned senior photojournalist in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. - APP
