ISLAMABAD: Eight young Pakistani journalists were in Kathmandu (Nepal) recently to attend the South Asian Youth at Risk Program.
Organized by International Institute for Journalists in collaboration with the Nepal Press Institute and the US embassy in Nepal, the program had 30 participants from seven countries.
The Pakistani group had Irfan Haider (Internews), Azam Khan and Zahid Gishkori (The Express Tribune), Naila Inyat (The News), Arsala Javed (South Asian Magazine), Aslam Chandio and Dawood Tareen (Online), and Usman (South Asian University).
The participants worked on several issues facing South Asian youth. Pakistan specific issues were also discussed. Several American instructors trained the journalists.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
How come when I want to, but something specific online is the only item out of stock.
When I get into a queue or lane going fast, the moment I get in, it becomes the slowest and refuses to budge.
