ISLAMABAD - The Press Association of Supreme Court (PAS) Friday unanimously elected Terence J. Sigamony, Senior Staff Reporter at The Nation as President.
PAS comprises reporters from TV channels, newspapers, and news agencies, who cover Supreme Court proceedings regularly.
Nasir Iqbal, Senior Reporter of Dawn, who was the chairman election commission, announced the results.
The PAS members also elected Rana Masood of Jang as General Secretary, Allahdad Siddiqui of Din TV as Senior Vice-President, Tayyab Baloch of Aab Tak TV as Vice President, Aamir Khichi of Associated
Press of Pakistan Finance Secretary, Salahuddin Khan of Nawa-e-Waqt as Information Secretary and Akhtar Siddiqui from Daily Ummat as Joint Secretary.
Nasir Kazmi (Jehan-e-Pakistan), Syed Sabeehul Hussnain (Daily Times), Daniyal Qureshi of (Daily Ausaf), Aleem-ud-Din (Metro News), and Saif-ur-Rehman (Daily Sama) were elected as members Executive Committee.
