PESHAWAR: DawnNews Television is reportedly facing problems at its Peshawar bureau after three experienced reporters quit in the past few months.
Reports say it all began when senior journalist Mumtaz Bangash left the organization in November to rejoin Mashriq.
This month, Senior Reporter Fakhruddin Sayed also resigned and joined Capital TV while another Reporter Alamdar Sayed left too after only two months, those in the know tell JournalismPakistan.com.
Insiders say these resignations, one after the other, have created difficulties at the bureau. A reporter, ‘imported’ from Islamabad on January 25, went back the very next day, they said.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
