ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain has lodged a complaint with Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) against ARY News and DawnNews for airing wrong news about his health and hospitalization.
PEMRA said on Twitter the matter had been forwarded to its Council of Complaints, Islamabad for further action. It was not immediately clear when the news was aired.
Earlier in April, the regulatory body had referred a complaint filed by Senator Rehman Malik against Channel 24 to its Council of Complaints.
The complaint related to a broadcast of a parody he considered "humiliating and derogatory."
