ISLAMABAD: BOL News Television has appointed Ibrahim Raja as Executive Vice President and Islamabad Bureau Chief.
Raja, currently serving as Samaa Television's Bureau Chief in Islamabad, will take up his duties at BOL next month, a JournalismPakistan.com source says.
The decision to hire the seasoned journalist was made about two weeks ago while a formal contract was signed only the other day.
Raja worked for Geo TV at Dubai Media City, Karachi and Islamabad stations for six years before joining Samaa in 2010. He is credited with helping Samaa achieve big successes. He has also been associated with news channels in U.S.
