BOL Media Group ready to launch Pak News TV

ISLAMABAD – BOL Media Group has stepped up a gear in its bid make a mark in the industry with the launch soon of its news channel named Pak News TV.

Insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com the channel will be a “complete news channel” for which preparations are now said to be in final stages.

The managers at BOL apparently want to launch it quietly without creating much hype perhaps fearing rivals might throw a spanner in the works.

Anchors Ameer Abbas and Dr. Danish have joined the new channel, a JournalismPakistan.com source says.

BOL also recently launched its transmissions in Sindhi, Pashto and Balochi languages with plans to cover several other regional languages, including Punjabi.

Last week Shoaib Ahmad Shaikh, CEO BOL Media Group announced plans to start publishing newspapers in regional languages and also in Urdu and English, all within a month.
