ISLAMABAD – BOL employees, who stood by their organization in difficult times but got a cold shoulder in return, will hold protests on May 1.
According to a press release, the protests will take place in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad in front of BOL offices.
The release said these employees staged protests for several months when BOL got shut down in 2015. It said that since May 2015, the management stopped paying salaries and shut the doors on them.
“Only a few employees were asked to rejoin while the majority was never called back. Now we have decided to protest against the continued callousness of BOL CEO Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh and the management.”
