KARACHI – Geo News presenter Syed Talat Hussain says his program Naya Pakistan maintained its No. 1 slot throughout the four years he hosted the show.

Talat announced on Friday he is parting ways with the channel when the current month closes.

In his show aired Saturday, he made it clear he was leaving Geo but not quitting journalism.

He said it was viewers’ trust that helped Naya Pakistan maintain the top position. He hoped the viewers would continue watching his show as he heads into the home stretch.
