ISLAMABAD—Activist Jibran Nasir (pictured) has demanded the release of journalists Imran Riaz Khan, Zubair Anjum and Arqum Sheikh.

In a tweet, Jibran, taken away by unknown men in Karachi and released a day later, said men in police uniform abducted Zubair Anjum (a Geo News executive producer). However, police deny any arrests and have no idea who took him and where.

About Imran Riaz Khan, he said he was taken from police custody, but police say it has no idea who took him and where.

Regarding Arqum Sheikh, Jibran said he was charged under ATA for violence on May 9, but his video shows he was only present for coverage as a digital journalist.
