Journalists injured in Karachi blasts

KARACHI: Dunya News reporter Kiran Khan, a technician, and several other journalists were injured Wednesday in two bomb blasts in Orangi Town, as reported by television channels. The explosions resulted in four fatalities and left 13 others wounded.

According to police, the first blast was a suicide attack, while the second, occurring in front of an Imambargah gate, was detonated using a remote control device. Among the injured were several security personnel.

These incidents follow a similar attack on November 18, when an explosion near an Imambargah in Abbas Town, Karachi, claimed two lives and injured more than a dozen people. The repeated targeting of Imambargahs and the increasing violence against journalists highlight the escalating security concerns in the region.
