GUJRANWALA – A senior journalist representing Channel 24 was beaten up reportedly by staff of Solid Waste Management for covering fuel pilferage from official vehicles.
Shafqat Imran, the channel’s bureau chief had caught those stealing petrol from the vehicles red handed and made footage.
According to reports he was beaten up when the stolen fuel was being sold. He sustained injuries to his head but is said to be out of danger.
Police are reported to have arrested the perpetrators.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
