The Center for Excellence in Journalism in collaboration with Nestlé Pakistan is conducting a one-day workshop on ‘Basics of Health Reporting: Nutrition as a Source of News’ on April 1, 2019, in Lahore.
The workshop will run from 9:30 am through 6:00 pm.
This course aims to introduce the health sector to journalists who cover health and economy beats. It will also briefly describe the international perspective on health, moving on to Pakistan and its particular issues, with a special focus on ‘nutrition’ as a source of news in a country where malnutrition is widespread.
Journalists will also receive training on tools of mobile journalism and how they can be used to cover the health sector.
This workshop is for journalists from Lahore or nearby areas.
