KARACHI – The Sindh High Court on Saturday granted bail to CEO Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, the CEO of software company Axact and BOL News Television.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had arrested him on February 26 in a money laundering case.
The court Saturday accepted Shaikh’s bail plea and ordered Shaikh's release from jail.
According to reports, the FIA was unable to prove the charges leveled against the Axact boss.
Later in the day, he arrived at his home in Karachi much to the relief of his family, friends, colleagues, and staff.
