Until recently, Chaudhry was working with Talon News, where she had been a prominent face in their programming. After leaving Talon News, she took some time to consider her options before deciding to join NewsOne TV.
At her new channel, Asma Chaudhry will be hosting a prime-time current affairs show, scheduled to air at 8:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. This move marks a significant step in her already distinguished career as a journalist.
Chaudhry is a seasoned professional in the media industry, with an impressive resume that spans several major Pakistani news channels. She has worked with Pakistan Television (PTV), Geo News, Dunya TV, Capital TV, and Neo TV. During her tenure at Dawn News, she served as the deputy editor of research and analysis, in addition to her role as a senior anchor.
Her contributions to journalism have not gone unnoticed. Chaudhry was honored with the Best Female Anchor in Current Affairs Award at the Pakistan Media Awards, a testament to her expertise and impact in the field.
Starting her career as a sub-editor with Jang in 2001, Asma Chaudhry has risen through the ranks to become one of the most respected journalists in the country. Her transition to NewsOne TV is expected to bring fresh perspectives and continue her legacy of quality journalism.
