ISLAMABAD—Veteran journalist Muhammad Hasan Musanna passed away on Monday following a protracted illness. He was 94.
He had grown frail and died at home, his son Mehmood Hasan said.
He had served many national newspapers, starting with the Pakistan Times in 1948. He was one of the founding members of the now-defunct national daily Frontier Post. He also worked with The Nation and The News as executive editor.
He has left behind three sons and a daughter. His wife died in March.
As we move into the second week of the stay-home directive, many of us must be discovering a new inner self, and how much we take for granted and miss it sorely when it is gone.
