KARACHI – Mansoor Khan, a chief reporter at The Nation, was arrested on Sunday as he covered a rally of the MQM-London chapter.
His paper reported that security personnel in plain clothes detained him at an undisclosed location. He was later released after the high-ups intervened.
The Nation said Khan was covering a rally in Azizabad and heading back when the authorities took him into custody.
Despite showing his professional identity, he was taken away blindfolded.
