ISLAMABAD – Acting on an order of the Supreme Court, electronic media regulator PEMRA Monday directed all private satellite TV channels not to air any live show regarding the case of Hudabiya Paper Mills Limited, Lahore & others versus National Accountability Bureau.

PEMRA said in a media release it would proceed against the channels or programs in case of any violation under its Ordinance 2002, to comply with the Supreme Court’s orders.

However, news on the proceedings in the open court is permitted but no analysis, discussions on the merits and demerits of the case are allowed.
