No live transmission of BOL for past three days as protesting employees take over studios

KARACHI – There has been no live transmission of BOL News for the past three days as employees continue to occupy the newsroom and studios, refusing to leave unless five-months of dues are not cleared.

One of the staff members addressing the protesters said that no one would move an inch until the outstanding salaries are paid off by the management.

Besides, the employees have the following demands/plans:

 - Salaries of five months should be disbursed together and to staffers of all grades.

-  There will be no talks if less than five months of pays offered.

- In the case of victimization of any employee, everyone would refuse to work.

The speaker appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, and Prime Minister Imran Khan to play their roles in getting them their rights.

The protesters shouted slogans against the management, one of their favorites being ‘bola kiya, diya kia’.
