Journalist Daud Khan selected for Oxford Climate Journalism Network

ISLAMABAD—Muhammad Daud Khan, a journalist from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been selected as a fellow at the Oxford Climate Journalism Network at the University of Oxford, UK.

"The Network is helping journalists, editors, and media executives across the world to develop their coverage of climate change," Khan said.

In journalism since 2009, Khan has a master's degree in journalism and did a short fellowship from Gaylord College of Journalism & Mass Communication, University of Oklahoma, USA.

Radio Pakistan, FM 96 Radio, Capital TV, Mashriq TV, and 24 News have aired his reports. His work has been published by The Express Tribune, The News, Equal Access, and Center for Research & Security Studies, Islamabad.

The Oxford Climate Journalism Network (OCJN) is a new program at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. Its mission is to help journalists and editors develop their coverage of climate change and support leaders in identifying the issues involved in reporting on the climate crisis.

Khan is currently a freelance contributor for The News on Sunday and a producer at Pakhtunkhwa Radio in Kurram tribal district.
