ISLAMABAD – Prominent presenter Hamid Mir has rejoined Geo News only two months after joining GNN Television.

Muneeb Farooq who hosts the program Aapas Ki Baat on Geo, welcomed back the seasoned journalist. “Hamid Mir sb joins back Geo News. Welcome back home @HamidMirPAK Sb,” he tweeted.

Mir was reportedly not happy working at the new network and decided to leave. He had joined them as the president in August.

His photograph along with Geo Managing Director Azhar Abbas and Muaaz Ahsan, Director of Programming, Brand and Strategy was posted on Twitter by Muneeb.

Mir hosted the flagship show Capital Talk on Geo for many years. It is likely that he will pick up from where he had left off.
