ISLAMABAD – A disclaimer shown before every program hosted by Aamir Liaquat on BOL TV contradicts his claim that he spoke in line with the channel’s policy.

Liaquat quit BOL Saturday and then apologized to all individuals whom he targeted in his program Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga,  claiming what he said on air was the management’s policy.

The relevant part of the disclaimer reads: “All views and comments made in this program are the host and the guest’s personal views and do not necessarily have a link with the channel, its broadcast policy, and views.”

Liaquat, in response to Daily Times (@dailytimespak) that tweeted the BOL disclaimer, said:  “This is one of the biggest reason of disagreements between me and BOL because when I was speaking bol’s policy why this disclaimer? If views were completely my own then why channel was airing if they had problems. Rubbish disclaimers to confuse all!”
