PESHAWAR – The Bajaur Press Club in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been closed down following threats.

Freedom Network reported that the club was closed for an indefinite period.

The authorities told the press club President Hasban Ullah Khan that there is “imminent threat” to the club and journalists.

In October, journalist Sohail Khan who worked for Daily K-2 Times was murdered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Haripur district.
