ISLAMABAD—Armed men attacked the house of journalist Shiffa Yousafzai who works for Hum News Television.

According to the details, two attackers entered the house and tortured the employees. Shiffa was not home at the time of the attack.

PFUJ President Afzal Butt and Secretary General Arshad Ansari strongly condemned the abuse and character assassination campaign by Muslim League (N) workers against Shiffa. They urged the PML-N leaders to take strict action to discourage trolling of female journalists at the hands of political workers.

The journalist community across the country has strongly condemned the attack.
