LAHORE – Armed masked men attacked and injured BOL News presenter and chief news analyst Asad Kharal in Lahore after intercepting his car near the airport.

BOL News reported that about a dozen men beat up and seriously injured Kharal. He was later rushed to the Services Hospital.

Kharal is a vocal critic of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, and in his programs exposed their corruption.

The analyst had arrived in Lahore from Karachi, and as he left the airport, his vehicle was intercepted at gun point. He was dragged out of the car and mercilessly thrashed.

BOL News was quick to accuse the PML-N for the attack.

The channel reported that Kharal sustained severe injuries and had fractured both his arms.
