Posthumous Pride of Performance award for Ayesha Haroon

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has approved the summary of conferring Tamgha-e-Husn-e-Karkardagi (President Award for Pride of Performance) on late journalist Ayesha Haroon.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has recommended the president through a summary to award the journalist. The award is being conferred on her in recognition of her services in the field of journalism. Haroon died in the United States in 2013 because of cancer.
