Former Governor Punjab to co-host current affairs program on 92 News

ISLAMABAD: Former Governor Punjab Lt. Gen (Retd) Khalid Maqbool is set to co-host a current affairs program, Baat Ha Pakistan Ki, on 92News with anchorperson Iqra Haris.

The program will be broadcast daily at 7:03pm from Friday to Saturday.

This is perhaps for the first time in Pakistan's history that a former army general and Governor Punjab will to host a current affairs program on a private television channel.

Maqbool has been the longest serving Punjab Governor during General Pervez Musharraf's government, from October 2001 to May 2008.

Iqra is a producer and anchorperson and has worked with Dunya TV, Samaa and City 42. The duo will mainly discuss social issues including education and health in their program.
