ISLAMABAD: Senior correspondent of Samaa TV Khalid Azim has been elevated to the position of Bureau Chief for Islamabad as the slot was lying vacant after Ibrahim Raja moved to BOL News.
Azim joined Samaa TV in 2007 as in-charge news desk and started Supreme Court reporting in 2009. He was later also elected as President of Supreme Court Reporters Association. He comes with an experience of over 30 years in both print and electronic media. Earlier, he also worked for daily Jang and Nawa-i-Waqt as a reporter.
"Khalid Azim is a competent and hardworking journalist and he will definitely help Samaa management to improve reporting and programming standards,” a Samaa insider said.
