ISLAMABAD—Veteran journalist Saud Sahir passed away on Tuesday following an illness, his son Umer Farooq said.
During his career, he worked for Jasarat and Ummat newspapers, and also had stints with weeklies Takbeer and Zindigi. He was also a trade unionist.
His Namaz-i-Janza was held at Masjid Noor in DHA II. A large number of his relatives, friends and colleagues attended the funeral.
