ISLAMABAD – The US Embassy in Islamabad Wednesday gifted dozens of books on journalism to the National Press Club.
These valuable books will be available to NPC members for reference and reading at the club.
Richard Snelsire, spokesperson for the embassy presented the books to NPC President Shakeel Anjum.
Several officials at the embassy and the American Resource Center and the staff working in the communications department attended the ceremony.
The embassy spokesperson said they would continue to cooperate with the club in a way that journalists benefit professionally.
He said the books were the best available and hoped the club members would make good use of them to further improve their skills.
Shakeel Anjum thanked the embassy officials for the wonderful gift.
