ISLAMABAD – The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) on Wednesday condemned Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda’s harsh and irresponsible response to a question by senior Dawn reporter Khaleeq Kiani (pictured).
In a press statement, the union urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to tell his ministers to respect the journalists’ right to ask questions.

RIUJ said that no one could take away the journalists’ right to ask questions which is their constitutional right.
The union called on the prime minister to take notice of the incident.
