ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Federal Union Journalists (PFUJ) has strongly condemned the management and owners of Dawn Media Group for forcing workers to resign from service.
At the same time, PFUJ expressed solidarity with the Herald CBA Workers Union for its protest against retrenchments and forced resignations.
President PFUJ Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary-General Nasir Zaidi in a joint statement criticized the Dawn management for this action. The leaders urged the media group to desist from forcing staff to quit.
