ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has granted two landing rights permissions for foreign satellite TV channels in children’s category.
In a meeting held at the PEMRA Headquarters on Thursday, the authority permitted Standard Services, Lahore for channel E-1, and Bells Entertainment, Lahore for Minimax.
The meeting also discussed the progress made on registration of companies for Television Audience Measurement (TAM) services.
The house was told that out of 10 companies that have applied, five had been provisionally registered with PEMRA so far.
Chairman PEMRA Muhammad Saleem Baig presided over the meeting.
