ISLAMABAD: Almost two weeks after firing four senior employees, the management of Rohi TV has done it again, this time terminating 13 members of its production team in Islamabad.
There are also reports of four employees being shown the door at the channel’s Karachi office and a few others in Lahore. Names of the sacked staffers were not immediately available.
This fresh round of terminations was expected after managers at the Seraiki-language channel laid off their Chief Operating Officer Salman Ali, Director Programs Usman Adil, Director Distribution Jamshed Ali and Senior Producer Intizar Hussain at the start of June.
Insiders say the management plans to completely close down its Islamabad head-office and relocate it to Lahore.
